In the second half payment Pep Guardiola asterisk Andreas Iniesta for the first time since 4 months and then Balsahr Argentine Lionel Messi Vdant preference to approach guests and Zlatan Ibrahimovic with a view of the subtle touch in 66 minutes instead of an opportunity made for himself brilliantly at the end of the first half but Argentina keeper Oscar Ustari cope with them.

Josep Guardiola yesterday published the squad list for the Getafe game, a squad which includes Iniesta, Messi and Chygrynskiy.
The Barcelona coach has called up 18 players for the second Liga game of the season. Without doubt, the big news is the presence of Iniesta, who was declared fit last Wednesday; Messi, who missed out on the first league game due to his international commitments with Argentina; and Chygrynskiy, the latest first-team squad signing. However, Rafa Marquez misses out due to technical considerations.
If they get to play, Iniesta, Messi and Chygrynskiy will be making their Liga debut for this season, and obviously Chygrynskiy would be playing his first game in a Barca shirt.
Last training session before going to Madrid
Although they were the only two international players to miss the session on Thursday, Lionel Messi and Dani Alves were back training in the Ciudad Deportiva on Friday. This was the last training session before Saturday’s game away at Getafe.

Happy 30th birthday Abidal!
Happy 30th birthday Abidal!
Sandra Sarmiento
Eric Abidal turns thirty today, a player with an incredible honours list behind him. He has won 4 leagues, 1 Champions League. 1 Copa del Rey and both the Spanish and European Super Cups.
It was Claude Puel was gave him his first opportunity at Monaco. Jean Michel Aulas then took him to Lyon, where after three years he was considered the best full back in France, winning three League championships and earning a regular place in the national team.
Éric Abidal came to Barcelona in the summer of 2007 as a replacement for Gio Van Bronckhorst, signing for four seasons. He has gone on to win five trophies at the club, and hopefully there are plenty more to come!
Regular spot in first year
Since he started with Frank Rijkaard on the bench, Abidal has shown on the pitch just what a physical presence he has and has come to command the left flank. In his first season he played almost every game, 30 in the League and 10 in the Champions League.
Spanish League Preview – Week 2
Spanish League Preview – Week 2
After the international break, the Spanish League is again up and running this weekend, with a couple of Barca’s main challengers desperately needing to up their game and Espanyol inaugurating their new stadium the highlights of the fixtures.
Seville and Athletico Madrid in need of points
Seville have been widely tipped to run the big two close this season, but they got off to bad start losing at Valencia a fortnight ago and will hope for a better showing at home to Zaragoza. Keeper Andres Palop insists: “we will be in the title fight”, but admits that: “we need to perform in front of our own fans to get rid of the poor image we gave in Mestalla”.
Another team with hopes of a successful push for the title, Athletico Madrid, were roundly beaten at Malaga in their opening game and will be wanting to give a much improved performance in their debut home match of the campaign against Racing, who also lost their opening game, 1-4 to Getafe.
First League game at Cornella
Espanyol face Real Madrid in their opening league game at their new stadium in Cornella and will be able to welcome back captain Ivan de la Peña who missed the opening week defeat in Bilbao. Madrid made a less than convincing start to their new galacticos era, but should be at full strength for the game. Both teams will observe a minute’s silence before the game in honour of Espanyol’s ex-captain Dani Jarque.
Malaga and Mallorca look to build on good starts
Malaga keeper Gustav Munua makes his return to La Coruña where he spent 6 years with Deportivo, as Malaga look to build on their great opening day start. Deportivo were a touch unlucky to go down to Madrid and must have been lifted by the performance of veteran Juan Carlos Valeron at the Bernabeu. Mallorca also got off to a winning start, but a visit to Villarreal this weekend could well be a different prospect than their dispatching of newly promoted Jerez a fortnight ago.
n other games, the Basque teams Osasuna and Bilbao both visit newly promoted clubs, Bilbao going down to Jerez and Camacho’s team flying out to Tenerife, Sporting Gijon are at home to Almeria and Valladolid entertain Valencia.

Rafa Márquez has been given the green light to start playing again four months after he last played in an official encounter.
The Mexican central defender has been training with the rest of the squad in recent days, but it was not until he came through Thursday evening’s session unscathed that the club’s medics announced that he could be chosen for the squad to face Getafe this weekend.
